Does it work with Windows 98?
Not at this time. AppRocket works with Windows 2000, 2003, XP and beyond.
How can I make Internet Explorer to open bookmarks in a new window?
There is actually a preference in IE just for this. To change it: select Internet
Options from the Tools menu in any Internet Explorer window, click the Advanced
tab, find the option 'Reuse windows for launching shortcuts' and turn it off. That's
it!
Can I filter individual folders while browsing?
Yes! While browsing your computer AppRocket automatically turns on filtering. This
allows you to simply filter the contents of the folder you are browsing. To turn
off filtering, press shift + backspace or the escape key.
Does it support WindowBlinds themes?
We do have plans to support WindowBlinds themes. AppRocket will work perfectly if
you have WindowBlinds installed but will only use the built-in styles or your selected
Windows visual style.
Why does AppRocket need .NET?
AppRocket requires .NET because it is the foundation we chose to build upon. Installing
it will not harm your system in any way, it just means you can run the many great
applications that use it. You can either use Windows Update to install .NET or download the installer from Microsoft's website.
